Three buildings with very different characters united by a series of specifically designed components. For two of them fioroni produced and installed made to measure furniture, doors and cladding in walnut and larch wood. Furnishings conceived with the aim of covering, containing and enriching the interior spaces with atmosphere. Craftsmanship, precious details and solutions designed to last over time.

fioroni for the renovation of the town hall headquarters in Pigra (Como).
The particular larch windows and the custom-designed fixed furnishings in knotless fir create an atmosphere of rest and harmony. A skilful renovation of the municipal offices of a small village 880 meters above sea level, overlooking the Como Lake.

fioroni created the kitchen and furnishings for "la Casa dei Ricordi" in a small village on Lake Como.
The kitchen is at the center of the large room and defines its space.
From the project report: "the kitchen is made of concrete and solid machined wood, which defines the decorations on the doors, and in green aniline stain to recall the surroundings landscape of Lake Como."

fioroni has created all the elements of PAN Milano, a refined neighborhood "bakery" with Japanese suggestions.
The large windows on the street are made of chestnut wood and connect the interior and exterior,
the internal bench also in chestnut wood develops along the entire length of the room,
The bakery counter and the outdoor bench are made of green fiberglass grid.

on the photo shoot setting of the new Domusomnia catalogue.

fioroni has created the suggestive project by a25 architects for a house in Brianza.
An "inhabited casket", a backdrop with integrated doors in oak and opal glass guards and reveals the inhabited rooms of the house.
The light transforms the spaces involved and redefined into a sort of "lantern".

fioroni supplied the Samedan bookcases for the set-up of the Casa Boutique shop in Reykjavik - Iceland.
Five Samedan in oak and iron gray lacquered steel structure and two Samedan made specifically on request in single-colour white.
The elements, placed according to particular guidelines, become refined displays for the objects and define paths and exhibition spaces.

Light-toned wood contrasts with the colder tones of the reinforced concrete of the structure and the smooth concrete of the floor.

Large low table with top of solid walnut or chestnut. Its specially- tapered plan gives formal lightness. Asymmetrically but well-balanced egg-shaped, it becomes almost a graphic sign, a great impact on the domestic architecture. Its shape, the special machining of the top and the solid walnut or chestnut wood make it particularly valuable.

La Punt, table with walnut or chestnut solid wood top, crafted by assembling five boards, asymmetrically cut, which determine a particular geometrical interlocking design. The structure consists of two simple parts made of steel sections in different colors. Available in three different sizes, it is a fine table with great aesthetic impact, which brings elegance into any home.

bench made from solid chestnut, a combination of timeless appeal and workmanship. The interlocking component, alternating on both sides, gives the bench a formal simplicity and declared structure. The warmth of solid wood makes this element particularly versatile and decorative.

A reinterpretation of the traditional chest, container but seat and small table as well. Made of birch plywood and with sides of ash, with calibrated details, linear and strict, with a measured height and different lengths. Minimal zipper and wooden handles. It is thought to be put against the wall, next to the bed, next to the sofa or in other rooms to contain, welcome and decorate. Optional felt cushion for the seat available.

Low table belonging to the design-family Soglio of which it maintains either the specially tapered top which gives formal lightness and also the asymmetrically but well-balanced egg shape. It becomes smaller. The top is in black paste coloured MDF, tapered, with a special surface in Fenix® laminate white, black, taupe. A graphic sign, it is extremely versatile and suitable for home as well as contract.

Petosan - La Thuile – Aosta – Italy.

fioroni created all the internal partitions and furnishings of the house at l’Alpeggio Petosan. The black wooden elements that contain services, kitchen, staircase and wardrobes are made of three-layer panels of larch treated with iron oxide and wax. A finish developed by fioroni with the designers expressly for this realization. Recycled woods present in the building before the works were used for the table, the chest at the entrance and other furnishing elements.

The prestigious Sergison Bates studio based in London and Zurich has interpreted for fioroni the theme of the sideboard in solid wood and oak panels.

Maia
Sideboard fabricated from solid oak and oak veneer panels, with brass hinges and timber knobs, the sideboard is long and low enough to double as a seat. Designed as a series of framed elements with infill panels, it features a number of storage options, including drawer and shelving units.

A Temporary Architecture Bookshop will be set up in conjunction with the exhibition The Most Beautiful Swiss Books where you can buy a selection of the most interesting volumes of architecture, graphics, design, published by Swiss and Italian publishers. The idea of the bookshop, which will be managed by Temporary Bookstore, arises following the Swiss Talks, a multi-year series of meetings dedicated to the orientations of contemporary architecture in Switzerland, curated by Federico Tranfa and produced by Casabella Formazione and Istituto Svizzero.

ADI Design Index 2019.

The selection of products will then compete for the
Premio Compasso d'oro ADI,
the oldest and most authoritative world design award born in 1954 from an idea of Gio Ponti .

ADI Design Index 2019 was presented in Milan on Monday 14th October 2019 in the Auditorium of the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology.
In Rome, the appointment for the presentation will be on Friday, November 22nd at 17.30, at the Architecture House, Roman Aquarium.

Bookshelves made of iron and wood. Two thin structures of iron rod, equal to each other, organise and support shelves of oak, chestnut or walnut of great thickness. The lightness of the reticular structure highlight the thickness of the solid wood. The interlocking wooden shelves seem suspended and parts of something properly proportioned. Each module can be put one next to the other.

a hanging cabinets system which create a strong graphic impact due to its rhythmic proportion of full and empty and thinness of materials. Containers are made of solid walnut or chestnut 13 mm thick; inside, functional and decorative dividers are made of steel sheet.
